2016 Book Hankerings: Erotica

Sure, the holidays are over. But you know what gift keeps on giving all year long? Books! Glorious, wonderful books. And as vigilant bibliophiles, we’re taking a peek at what great books 2016 will bring us! Today, we’re ogling 2016 erotica releases!

Wicked Sexy Liar by Christina Lauren (February 2) — The RT editors were brawling over the review copies One with You, Sylvia Dayfor the fourth Wild Seasons book. What can we say, we love Lauren’s books. Plus, Not-Joe! (We’re also getting the novella Beautiful Boss at the end of February, with more Will and Hanna!)

One with You by Sylvia Day (April 5) — The much-anticipated (understatement) Crossfire finale will be with us in 2016! Fans have been rabid as the series expanded from three to five stories. When would Eva and Gideon finally get their HEA? The answer, it seems, is April 5! Eva is such a great, strong heroine, we can’t wait! (Plus the cover is awesome.)

Into the Fire by Meredith Wild (June 21) — Now that Wild’s wrapped up her Hacker stories, we can devote our full attention to her Bridge series. In June we’ll be getting the second installment. Set in part at Cameron and Maya’s destination wedding (after getting their HEA in book one, On My Knees), we are excited because we love wedding hijinx! From afar. IRL we’re happy at the wallflower table, thanks.

Reaper’s Fire by Joanna Wylde (June 28) — What erotica list would be complete without some MC love? Wylde’s series has been mega hot from the start, so that the eighth release in her Reapers MC series is called Reaper’s Fire makes all sorts of sense. We cannot wait for Gage’s story.

Never Better by Charlotte Stein (July 26) — We loved Stein’s Under the Skin titles last year, so we’re excited to check out her latest offering in her Dark Obsession series, even though we’ll have to wait until summer.

The Protector by Jodi Ellen Malpas (September 6) — One of our favorite movies of all time is Whitney Houston’s The Bodyguard, so we’re pretty excited for this one, starring Jake as bodyguard and Camille as the heiress trying to get beyond her daddy’s girl rep. We’re going to go sing now. BRB.

Whitney Houston will always love you.

Beyond Ruin by Kit Rocha (soon!) — The duo promises that Beyond Ruin will be with us shortly, and we can’t wait! After all, the tagline on Goodreads says, “If three’s a crowd, why not try four?” Super in.
