We can’t deny that our insatiable appetite for books has turned into quite the habit. Fortunately, we can satisfy our cravings with the abundance of book mail that is delivered to the RT office daily. Of course, we’ve always wished that our readers could share in the experience and with book subscription box services, now you can! Today we’re taking a closer look at PageHabit’s subscription service for readers, plus we’re giving away one historical fiction book box!
PageHabit is a subscription service curated by authors. They offer a variety of genres to choose from, as well as the option to receive a box monthly or quarterly. From mystery to historical romance, horror to historical fiction, PageHabit seeks to satisfy every type of reader.
Subscribers receive a recently released title and a bevy of book-related goodies in each box, but it gets better than that. Every box comes with a note from the author whose book you are about to read and there are sticky notes throughout the book that feature annotations from the author. Have you ever read a passage and wondered what inspired the author to write that piece? PageHabit has set out to satisfy your curiosity.
You probably want to know what is in the July 2017 Historical Fiction subscription box (which you can enter to win below). All sort of goodies, lovely readers! The featured book is a hardcover edition of Where the Light Falls by Allison Pataki and Owen Pataki. The story takes place three years after the storming of the Bastille, while France is in the throws of revolution. In addition to this thrilling book, readers will receive a letter from the authors, a notebook so that you can jot down your thoughts on the story, a bookmark and a book light.
Since PageHabit was born to spread a love of reading, they’re also giving back! For every PageHabit box sold, a portion of the proceeds is donated to support children’s literacy. In fact, PageHabit includes information about its philanthropic endeavors in each box as well! The July 2017 boxes feature a postcard detailing the company’s contributions to the Nyarweng Foundation, an organization that provides South Sudan with reading materials.
And now to the giveaway! We’re giving away one PageHabit subscription box. U.S. entrants only please. Please note, should you enter this giveaway, your name and email address will be shared with PageHabit, the company furnishing the prize.
Want to sign up for PageHabit? It’s easy! Monthly boxes are $29.99 each, while quarterly boxes are $49.99. You can find more information on PageHabit’s website.
