Spencer Hill Press: The home of such authors as Jennifer L. Armentrout and Jennifer Murgia, Spencer Hill Press has announced they’ve re-opened their submission doors. But you’d better hurry, because this open call is only happening until December 10. They’re accepting queries for Young Adult and New Adult books featuring strong voices and a compelling plot. Bella Books: For years, Bella Books has been the leading publisher for quality lesbian fiction, and now’s your chance to join their impressive roster. Bella Books is open to all genres, including mysteries, science-fiction, erotica and general fiction. To learn more about their editorial philosophy and submission guidelines, visit their site.
Lyrical Press : Lyrical Press is still open to submissions from both agented and unagented writers. They’re looking for all romance genres as well as cozy mysteries, Young Adult stories, psychological suspense and women’s fiction. Lyrical has a few submission options, so be sure to read their full instructions prior to hitting send.
Loose Id: Looking for a way to stay warm this winter? Why not try your hand at a Spring Break-themed romance? And when you’re done, submit it to Loose Id’s call for Spring Break vacation stories! As long as your story is super sexy and 20,000 or more words, you’re good to go. All submissions must be in before February 1st! Totally Bound: Totally Bound Publishing is on the hunt for new erotic romance stories to heat up readers’ lives. Manuscripts should be between 10,000 and 100,000/more words and can feature a thrilling adventure, a sexy fallen angel or even a host of shapeshifters. Swoon Romance: Swoon Romance is still open to Young Adult, New Adult and adult submissions, including novellas. For YA, Swoon is looking for contemporary stories only, while NA and adult submissions can be contemporary or fantasy. See what the editors are looking for and find out more submission details here.
Riptide Publishing: This LGBT publisher is currently seeking stories featuring characters who fall outside the usual spectrum, including characters who identify as bisexual, transgender, queer or nonbinary.
